Hp 0a54h Sound Drivers

So, this week a classmate asked if I could install Windows 8.1 on his computer, a HP prebuilt with an 0A54H mainboard. Now the thing is, so far I have a godawful time getting the onboard audio working. I started out with the Realtek High Definition drivers from the official website, no dice.

Try to download HP audio drivers through a HP driver update utility if you have no idea about which driver you should download. Epson Draft Font Download. Driver Talent is a smart choice for HP drivers support since it downloads for you the best-matched HP sound drivers automatically.

Tried AC'97, no dice. Then I looked up the audio chip, and found Which I have installed too, but did nothing.

Before installing this, I removed all Realtek related folders in both (x86) and the normal Program Files directory, and uninstalled the device in Device Manager before installing without restarting. It did no effect unfortunately. Before I installed this Windows version, Windows 7 was running on it with all drivers working. Hope somebody can tell if something is flying straight over my head or not. Thank you for your time.
